You could be her best friend...but you're not!
Once again I'm being yelled at to update this thing. It's hard when you don't have any time! I should be playing Halo 2 right now, but at the request of my dearest girlfriend I'm going to put in an entry.
Not a whole lot has happened. I had my 16th birthday on Halloween and a bunch of us went as pirates and had a big cooler of candy, only it wasn't that big since only about 3 people actually put their candy in there to make it a treasure chest. Oh well, there were a lot of "Arrrgs!" and plastic sword fights. I then drove Nikki's big suburban back to her house and apparantely I'm such a good driver that she and Katie wanted to hire me to be their private chauffer. I won't open their doors for them though. I'm lazy. I got an Xbox and a sweet jacket for my b-day. And of course, once it came out I've been playing Halo 2. Addicting. Very addicting, but Desi is carving into my brain the saying "Desi good, halo bad!".
Desi was gone for an entire week. She was in Mexico, and according to everyone I was grumpy and depressed the whole week. I made Steph cower in fear. Justin and Eric would role their eyes at my constant "I miss Desi" comments. It was hard! And she comes back and I find out she was with her other boyfriend Juan who is an amazing dancer and climbs trees to get coconuts. But that's ok, I got her back by beating her FOUR times at Dance Dance Revolution tonight, even though she'll NEVER admit it. Twice I actually got a higher score than her, she restarted once because she was losing, and the other time she failed out. :)
Anyway, today we had all the carpet in our house torn up and replaced. Moving furniture sucks. Big time. We had this HUGE desk that weighed about 83837927498375987239572938 lbs and I told my dad how we could take it a part and make it way easier but he wouldn't listen to me until an hour and a half later. And because of that I couldn't go play Halo at Justin's house and have Desi come. Grrr!! And my parents were going to wake me up earlier this morning before the carpet man showed up, but instead they brought him and showed them my room (which was part of the area being redone for carpet) while I was still sleeping in my bed. The carpet dude would talk to me at random points in the day to tell me about his son (who was working with him, but talking as if he wasn't there) who plays Post22 and is in my grade. Then he'd be listening to country music on the radio and sing really really loud to it. I gave up on trying to watch a movie and went to Borders with my mom. Then I went to the parade and Indoor Marching Concert and saw Desi and the HAIR RAISING BRASS. They were pretty good. Afterwards I went to work, then went to the BBQ at the Hoffman residence. We played a lot of DDR (that's when I beat Desi a grand total of FOUR times) and hard an awesome time. About time after over a week!! I MISSED HER SO MUCH!!!
Then we had our wiffleball game. We were doing good the first few innings, but then we had a really, really bad one that cost us the game. I didn't field to well this game for some stupid reason, but I hit ok and didn't get out at all. After that we, as in Desi, Dani, Adam, and Erica A from the team cam back and went in the hot tub. I had to go home then because I thought my dad needed me for some more moving of furniture, but it turns out he was sleeping.
Oh, and this morning my mom came home with "For Sale" signs. I guess we're moving. Maybe, it kinda depends on my dad. I kind of doubt we are, but if we do it better be to a bigger house! My mom wants a bigger house with more land, which is good for her dog stuff and gives her a lot more space to put all the furniture we're getting from my grandma's house since she's not living there anymore, but I'm going to be gone in 2 1/2 years so it's not like they need the room for kids. On the other hand they do need the room for dogs. This house it just too small for all my mom's dogs and dog equipment. It's a fricken kennel!
