So is this what falling in love feels like?

Love songs for some reason aren't sappy but prophetic. Your stomach suddenly falls to your feet and refuses to come back to your abdomen. Your bones seem hollow, your limbs tingle with the sensation and your body begins to float. Or is it your mind that is floating? You're giddy and hopeful. Somebody's pumped your head full of helium and let you loose....you're a slave to the wind, it tosses you up and down, sometimes gentle, sometimes fierce and as you look down at the world below you suddenly realize how truly beautiful everything is.
You're prone to sighing. All sorts of sighs. Deep-throated sighs, quiet sighs that make you lift your chest as if there is some new weight sitting there and your attempting to shift it around. You smile all the time, for no reason. In fact, you can't not smile. The corners of your lips have fixed themselves in a permanent upturned state, as if they know something the rest of the world doesn't.
And occasionally, when you smile, you bite your bottom lip, contemplating this secret you're holding inside of you.
When you close your eyes you can see them in front of you. The way they walk, the way they smile, the way they catch your eyes with their own. The way you can smell the cologne on their shirt collar when you hug them. The way shivers run through your body when they slide their fingertips against your palm and take your hand in theirs. The way the mere sound of their voice melts your insides. The way everything they do makes you smile.

:-D

This is what happens to me when I watch Benny and Joon, Don Juan de Marco, and You've Got Mail all in one night. I'm not really in love, but I felt inspired to write about love all the same. And I most definietly LOVE those movies. Especially the first two.

In other news I am utterly saddened...no....disgusted with the recall. I heard the morning after on the radio and I almost thought I was going to throw up in the car. Yeah.
But I'm very excited about this weekend. It will be great fun.
