Vigil-Anti
Well, yesterday marks the forth time I've called 999 in the last six months.
I'm really not a very successful vigilante. This guy got away as well, along with the two laptops and xbox. Not exactly sure where he nicked them from yet - some house nearby.
Maybe I should have chased after him, tried to hold him until the police arrived?
I'd probably just get myself stabbed for the effort, though. I don't think the police found him roaming the streets anywhere nearby, or else they would have called me back to get me to ID him.

It shits me off that people commit crimes in practically broad daylight.
Just a week back, I chased off a guy on Englefield Road who was casing the back of a house, around midday on a Saturday. After I harassed him and he moved on, he just waited at a street corner, and then he went straight back! I mean, come on, don't people have ANY shame? And the guy Chris and I surprised yesterday evening looked like he was shitting bricks, but still managed to cough out "Got a light?" in response to me yelling at him, while he finished stuffing stolen goods into a bag and then legged it.
