Jdrama: Itoshi Kimi e
Itoshi Kimi e stars Fujiki Naohito and Kanno Miho in the story of a photographer who is losing his eyesight. Shiki and her friends Ai and Shingo go to Nagasaki to attend the funeral of a close university friend where Shiki meets Shunsuke. Shiki is put off when she hears his relatives gossiping about him and describing Shunsuke in unfavorable terms which contradict what she remembers from her friend's stories of his older brother.
Shiki hears that Shunsuke is something of a playboy who (she is told) plies his trade in pornography so she is naturally wary of him. His forward manner threatens her a little and she believes him to be unfeeling about his brother's death. It's only later that she begins to realize the closeness between the two brothers and how deeply Shunsuke feels the loss of his sibling. Shunsuke seems to be drawn to her, and when he discovers she is a young doctor in a pediatric ward, he tries to convince her to help him gain permission to photograph the children. An uneasy relationship springs up between the two...
