Why is Liar Game so short? It feels like there's never enough time to get into the game -- and considering that they spend twenty minutes on dramatic music and reaction shots of all the players in the room, that's sayin' something. XD
I have no idea. The only thing I know about this drama is that it's based on a manga, and I agree with you - they do spend soooo much time on the dramatic music/editing/reaction shots (endlessly with the larger group now)...I don't understand. The beginning of episode 2 seemed like a complete waste of time with Akiyama explaining his ruse - the episode picked up later and gave us some nice character moments. There needs to be more of that, and episode 3 was sorely lacking in character moments.
I really enjoy the drama but I hope that the next episode improves on what #3 fell down on.
God, YES. Akiyama is so long-winded for someone so hot. (Thank god some of those dramatic camera angles linger on his hot hot face.) But I guess the endless reaction shots make sense if they're following a manga....

I suspect the shortness has to do with its timeslot - from 11:10 PM to midnight. So it loses like ten minutes over the regular drama. I think probably since it's a new timeslot, FujiTV is testing the waters, but maybe they'll extend it out eventually.

I haven't watched episode four yet, but doesn't he already do that? ;)
