Birthdays, meeting new friends, Jwebs, Kame pics and 'Turn Left Turn Right'
First, Happiest of Happy Birthdays to hgsk_arashi and paddyabroad! And also an early Happy Birthday to dear firefly1984. *confetti* all around!
Last night, I got to meet nihongofrancais and anamuan and I had a marvelous time. We had dinner at Teaism (yes, the usual Thai Chicken Curry, chai, and a chocolate salty oat cookie were consumed) and we talked and laughed a lot. They are both amazing ladies and I'm quite glad we could meet. The conversation drifted all over from jdramas to JE and culture and lots of things in between. One of the things that came up during the conversation, I've been meaning to mention as hilarious: Koyama and the king-sized bed. That jweb entry made me giggle endlessly. Poor unloved Shige.
Also, Yamapi's recent jweb entry cracked me up! What a dork. I want to know what the heck kind of necklace he's wearing to get tangled up like that?! Stuff like that never happens to me.

Work is crazed lately, so I will end this. Someone on my flist (I'm so sorry, I can't remember exactly who) said they were going to watch the lovely Kaneshiro Takeshi film Turn Left Turn Right, which is based on a book that koalathebear talks about in this post. koalathebear put together a gorgeous powerpoint presentation (with the translation help of Papa Koala) of the book.
