Can I just say that I totally agree with you on that!! :D Sapuri's ending was AMAZINGLY satifying and really completed the entire drama. With Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, I liked the fluffy ending, but like you said, the obstacles they faced didn't seem to come full-circle and just faded away; it was definitely lacking in that sense.
Yeah, the letter itself was cool, the running was extra nice coz of the glimpses of Kame's waist:), but it all went HMMM with the bus part. I guess, the lighting had a lot to do with it. Somehow, it was just SOOOOO bright. And most of the significant Nao-Hiroto scenes occurred at night or in dark blue. Obviously, somewhere in between the running and the bus part was one whole episode! And this could have made Hitokoi a cult classic too!!! Curses Nitere!!!!
*giggle* That is perfect way of describing it! I think I went, "EH?! hontou ni?!" at least three or four times while watching the episode and then an awed, and yet confused, "sugoi..." when the happy ending arrived. ;P
Blame everything on Nitere! Tatta Hitotsu no Koi's ending! The fact that I broke a heel on my shoes while walking outside one of their studios! EVERYTHING! *giggle* But really, I do wonder if that eleventh episode really existed and then was taken away... *hmms*

but that change in the drama's theme was sort of like...
Exit Romeo & Juliet
Enter Much Ado About Nothing
