'Tatta Hitotsu no Koi' Episode 10 (final) Screencaps Part 3 [END]

Continued from Part 2

This last episode felt a little anti-climactic to me, and I was unfortunately spoiled for the happy ending, so I do have mixed feelings about it - someone mentioned to me last week that the tv magazines were all reporting that this dorama should have had 11 episodes, so I'm wondering what we would have seen and how this would have felt with an extra episode. As it is, I'm bummed that we didn't get an hour-long finale, and even more bummed that it's over. I WANT MORE HIROTO!

Since I can't make any more comments until I've seen this with subs, I'll just end with these final three observations:

1. Kamenashi Kazuya runs prettier than any other Johnny I've yet seen, including Kimura Takuya, who held my affections for his running. I always crack up when I see all this running around in jdoramas, but I got over it with THnK because it seemed like a requisite feature in every episode, and how can I complain when Kame looks THAT pretty?!

2. I just knew that as soon as Nao realized she'd left her bags on the bus that Hiroto was going to flash back to the first episode where he said something about always looking for things for her in one of his voiceovers (at that party, I think, when he went looking for her handbag). Can anyone confirm for me whether this was mentioned?

3. I LOVED Hiroto finally wearing those adorable gloves that Nao knit for him at the very end.

I can't wait for the subtitles, which goes without saying, and I feel rather melancholy that this drama is over.

And one more thing, which I will likely mention again in my review: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the final images of the five friends running after the bus. There was such joy in it, especially in Hiroto turning around and gesticulating to the others...I felt like after all the drama and all the romance, that at the base of this story it was about these five young people growing up and running forward bravely and joyfully into their future.

And because I am a sap, this makes me even gladder than Hiroto and Nao getting back together. :)
