Our vertical leap is astounding
Applying Zizek to Faulkner is completely blowing my mind. His theories on ideology just seem to fit so well! I'm absolutely amazed that no one else has done this. I am definitely going to submit this paper for publication in a graduate student journal after I develop it a bit more beyond the scope of this seminar assignment.
...and the more I think about it, the more I realize that the other works that I've read by Faulkner follow a similar pattern when it comes to exposing the demons of the American South. If I do choose to devote my graduate research to Faulkner instead of to mixed-media narratives, I can certainly smell the beginnings of a dissertation or at least a master's thesis.

(But unfortunately, my other final seminar paper on Kant is about as flaccid as a 90 year-old man's penis after its been run over by an eighteen-wheeler)
