To be quite honest, I really don't know what I'm doing. I gathered a lot of prompts, me and my sister and came up with 30 ones. This will be fun, then.
Perfection
Changmin/Yoona
Angst; 233 words; g
Prompt: #1 insecurity
A/N: Random thoughts. Really random.
He loves her and she knows it. The early morning kisses to the ones left at night that lingers until the dawn, she knows how much Changmin is in love with her, and he will not have her replaced for anyone, for anything. That is how much she trusts him, his heart devoted only to that of Im Yoona’s, the beautiful, the charming, the innocent. She can’t afford to think otherwise of him, because she knows if ever she does, it will grow; when it does grow...well, she can’t think of the worst consequence of it yet, but she knows it’ll be bad indeed.
The problem is she can’t help herself. Not when Changmin is always seen with the other woman. Although he completely tells her that it is nothing, it is work, it is just another colleague (Yoona reminding herself his use of ‘it’ instead of she), and therefore she has no reason to feel left out.
Doubt should never be existent in her vocabulary, because that is faulty. And Yoona is known to have lesser flaws as she ages.
Then again she feels insecure. So long as that girl is there with him, by his side, Yoona has the tendency to falter the image of a beautiful, charming and innocent girlfriend she is even when she knows jealousy isn’t in her job description. But with Changmin, of course, that can change.
A Single Second
Donghae/Jessica
Angst; 163 words; g
Prompt: #2 Bitter
(HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNG JESSICA I LOVE YOU. :* Donghae still does too.)
His hand brushed hers. She jerked at the momentous feel and eyed him. Her heart did some jogging, and so did his, but neither one moved at any rate. They are both still. Frozen. Waiting, perhaps who the hell know
Along the touch was the heartache, but it wasn’t like they could tell each other these qualms like how they used to before. Friends maybe to the outside world, the people that surround them, but every time he would brush his hand against her own, it always left a soft petulant spark, just a blow of the past -and it took a second more, a minute, a day, a month or a year to let the glitter fade dimly.
She could never say hold me like the last time, nor could he promise to make her smile more on normal occasions. It is over, but the mark engraved, the spark felt, the intense gazes and secret hand brushes were long over once upon a time; but still bitterly remembered.
Cubed
Luhan/Nana
Romance; 600 words; pg
Prompt: #3 Bright
A/N: Well, what do we have here? Crack again for exo. Oh well.
He walks out with the boys, all twelve of them sluggishly entering their vans and going back to their dorms. Contrary to that, the boys seem never tired, he notices this, and when they arrive at their new home, the hype still doesn’t go away, the talking, the chattering. Although he has Sehun always (sneaking/lurking) beside him, asking, ‘Hyung, how do you say this in Mandarin?’, Luhan found it a too stressful now that they have been going back and forth, then back again to China. Two months pass, earning more fans, and some of Jongin’s shitload complains around the dormitory, Luhan feels that it will take some time getting used to this.
“Guys, there’s a girl at the door,” Tao informs them as he enters the living room. The rest of the boys quiet down, of course aside from Baekhyun and Chanyeol’s bickering about who has the bigger bed. Suho stands up, curious.
“Is she from the media or something?” he asks and Tao shrugs, the leader unsure if it is also because he can’t understand his Korean that well.
“SM?” Kyungsoo wonders, passing the book to Kris as he starts standing up. All of the boys start to take interest now at the so-called visitor maknae has introduced, except for Luhan who sits by the window sill, watching the sun go down from here.
“Wait, wait!” He can hear Suho struggle with the boys, fighting them off and saying they shouldn’t be behaving this way. Their manager has not informed them of any indoor interview, let alone in their dorms, literally.
They open it, with a lot of interested faces, to find a rather stunning blonde-haired woman in what appeared like a school uniform. She is rather familiar they all decide then, that even Minseok speaks up and says, “I know you!”
She bows her head at them. “I’m sorry to bother you guys.”
“Not a bother at all,” Kris adds, before Sehun stares back to see his most silent hyung approach them in his aloof state and squeezes himself to the door. Maybe he has heard her voice, maybe he has gotten curious--- Sehun still pays attention as Luhan drives to the front of all the EXO boys and holds out his hand.
“Did you bring it?” he asks her and she nods, smiling brightly.
From her hand bag she pulls up the Rubik’s cube, mixed just like how the boy would want it. He then gives her a soft smirk.
“You scrambled it for me. Again,” he comments and looks up at her. “Thanks for bringing this, Jinah. I was wondering where it went.” “You can always buy another one, what’s the---” Chanyeol starts from behind before Yixing plasters his hand over his mouth for ruining the moment.
She shrugs, playfully pushing his shoulder. “Your boys are watching us. I feel embarrassed.”
“They’re just jealous,” he teases, looking over his shoulder. “Because they should be minding their own business!” Suho takes the action of gathering the others back, Tao still escaping and wanting to watch more.
Luhan seals the deal with a bright smile. “I’ll introduce you to them next time. They’re...deadly these days. Wait, is my Korean right?”
She giggles. It is like watching a drama. “Tell her you love her!” snickers a very loud Sehun, before Luhan shoves his hand backward at the voice, and pushes them all back inside.
“See you around,” she bows her head then walks down the hall. She is a celebrity like himself, and he thinks, aside from his new brothers, she’s one who understands him most.
Impression
Seungho/Soyeon
Romance; 192 words; g
Prompt: #4 Candle
“Where?”
“Almost there."
“Yang Seungho, I will tell on you if this is one of your pranks again!”
“It’s not, just hold...me.”
“I don’t have a choice now, do I?”
He led her to the balcony of his apartment where tonight the stars shone brighter than anywhere else. The flawless dusk is brighter than anything with the moon half-painted somewhere just higher from the peak of the horizon.
He stopped and so did she, her hand slightly shaky he noticed, but when was it ever not, especially that she was unsure of what was going on around her. He smiled at this before taking off the blindfold, Soyeon rather more dumbfounded than he expected she would be.
The table was set, with a meal she had been dying to have, the food she particularly liked. Of course, it was Seungho after all, so he knew. He knew a lot of things about her and it wouldn’t be a wonder if she actually enjoyed tonight.
He kissed her lightly on the cheek. “So? What do you think?”
She scowled, hands on her waist. “You call this romantic? There are no candles, you idiot!”
Say Yes
Taemin/Sulli
Romance; 212 words; g
Prompt: #5 Flowers
She tenses, heaves a great amount of oxygen before she folds her arms by her chest. “What are you doing?”
He doens’t look at her. If he does, he know he’ll lose and probably beg on his knees if he must just so Sulli forgives him. That is always the case with him, Minho often teases, because he lets the girls push him around. But that isn’t true, Sulli often reminds him. She is usually the one who turns and gives in, starts saying sorry rather than playing proud.
Since this game of apologizing is new to him, Taemin is still in very way stiff. The bouquet of white roses appear like it cost a lot, and his pretend-proud stance makes him look troubled. He doesn’t know what to do.
“Really, what is this? You know I don’t like flowers.”
He scratches his auburn hair, annoyed really, but still avoiding glancing up at her. “Will you stop acting like madam Soojung and just say yes, I forgive you Taemin?”
She giggles at her best friend’s nickname rising, running to him despite his arm reached out and the flowers ignored. Sulli’s embraces are the best, he then grins, holding her completely as well and feeling lucky that she isn’t that too moody today.
