Title: Out of Habit
Pairing: Sehun/Krystal; pg 828 words
Genre: Angst
Summary: When your expectations fail at the last moment of hope.
A/N: This has been on my mind for quite some time now and well, I thought I'd give the couple a shot.
She was expecting this. She was hoping that he would somehow apologize.

So when she saw him by the doorway, a faint sparkle came in all things around her that felt like this was yet another one of the dreams she was so fond of getting. Maybe it was, because he looked so handsome, far more than he actually was, and because of this Soojung averted her eyes at once, away from the boy who was now standing in front of her.

He also had had that strange habit of avoiding people’s gazes, and even in this dream-like setting, Sehun did appear like he was not at all hurrying to make things right again, nor trying for that matter. He seemed off, stiff, and his usual self of course, Soojung observed. But that was what made him possibly more attractive. And he knew that of course too, after hearing the rumors that she had been crushing on him, and all that stuff which spread like wildfire at school.

She crossed her arms, leaning against the door jamb, the boy scratching his head and other possible things to be embarrassed about. And she didn’t mind.

“It wasn’t really...her,” he finally said, not a slight obvious sweat.

Soojung nodded knowingly. “The one who told me to back off?"

Sehun pointed to the inside of her apartment, and without energy she agreed in letting him in. They sat together on the couch, comfortable yet uneasy, both silent before Soojung thought of getting him something to drink or whatever, other excuse just to stand up and not get too close. The moment she did so, Sehun cleared his throat.

She faced him in wonder. “What?” Sehun will say he is sorry. He will, and he will mean it.

“You’ve heard about it right?” he again defended, and Soojung rolled her eyes before heading for the kitchen. A sad excuse maybe but she pulled whatever food there was left in her cupboards, a bag of chips and then picked the apple juice cartons Sooyeon had saved up for tomorrow.

She tossed it to him from the counter, and he grasped for it easily, plus the juice. She crossed to the other seat and raised her legs, still gazing at her visitor.

“Kai told me,” Soojung answered, still waiting that he’d say it. She was waiting for the impossible she knew. Why would he apologize in the first place? Was it his fault though, that Soojung fell in love with someone who could not return back the feelings? Was it wrong that Soojung fell in love with Sehun, who was off-limits for having someone else, for having someone already waiting up on him?

“I just want to clear it out that she wasn’t mad at you,” Sehun said and he saw her eyebrows twitch. “Okay, maybe a little. But other than that, those hate messges you’ve been getting, that back-off-give-me-a-good-reason-why-I-should-forgive-you was not her.”

He stabbed the carton with the straw and sipped it innocently, still looking away. Soojung remained solemn for a couple of minutes before Sooyeon arrived from her shift at the hospital and Soojung thought Sehun should leave. She sent him to the door, with no more words exchanged, with her older sister teasing and saying he was cute, but Soojung shook her head and went to bed.

Nope, it never was his fault, except Soojung, out of pride, and maybe a little out of habit, knew so well that she deserved to hear an apology. But she wouldn’t be getting it. She wouldn’t be getting the sad alibi of him visiting her, just like the dream she had, because in truth, Sehun never cared about her, or her petty feelings that would remain obvious for the outside world, for his unnamed girlfriend, for him, but it wasn’t like he would defend Soojung.

The accusations he denied to his girlfriend, pfft, Soojung usually scoffed more. They broke up--- Sehun and his girlfriend, maybe as what how the story goes, Kai told her this, Sulli said this, and it went on until everybody else seemed to be in it. But then here was news that they were together again, and Sehun was still protecting his girlfriend right damn hard until he took the idea of lying to Soojung, of saying that she wasn’t really the one who threw those knives. And what other excuses could have Sehun exposed?

It wasn’t like he shared something with her, just a simple date perhaps but long forgotten, long buried (not maybe for his girlfriend who would be carrying that scar to her grave). Then again, she should have backed out when she could, not stuck in a game where she was walking on lose ends.

Soojung knew of course that Sehun wouldn’t care, wouldn’t dare bend a simple rule for her, when she naturally would do the exact opposite for him. And that was why, she had her eyes wet that upsetting night.
Title: Glances
Pairing: Baekhyun/IU; pg; 371 words
Genre: Romance
Summary: This will be the start, you and I.
A/N: My personal crackship of course. If anyone actually watched EXO's debut performance in Inkigayo, you'll see a very hyperactive Baekhyun who kept looking at one of the MCs. Oh yes, I see with my OTP potential eyes. And I'm very sure I'll be able to write more for them soon.

They were told to stay in front, Chanyeol already knowing his spot at the back, Kai and Sehun inseparably beside him. The other two, Baekhyun noticed, were standing next to him, their leader of course and D.O, who nervously stammered with the script instructed. He laughed, because he couldn’t help himself, and he looked sideways upon hearing someone else’s sweet laughter. To be so sure, the one in green, gave him a brighter smile and he just took it as a warmer welcome.

And every time she talked, he would lean forward, try to convince himself that he was just showing the world the image he was ought to portray: friendly, warm, smiling Baekhyun of the rookie group EXO.

The microphone was passed to Kai, and before he knew it, he had to sing a small sample of their debut song MAMA. Again he stole one more look at the pleasant looking MC before going all out. That was nice, maybe she could have been impressed.

The lights went down, the cameras off, and his feet were dashing towards her, the girl talking animatedly to her other two MC friends. A little frightened, but still rather curious he tapped her shoulder, the fairy-like princess was prettier up close.

“Hello,” he bowed down totally, showing respect. “I’m Baekhyun. And you are?”

Hara, as he known to be a member of KARA, giggled brightly before leaving the girl to this guy. She greeted him with a smile, alive and so vibrant. “Hello, Baekhyun.”

"May I know your name?” But Baekhyun already recognized her from before. And with this he blushed.

“Lee Jieun,” she answered shyly. “People know me as...”

"IU,” they chorused together and he chuckled. “Yes, yes, I know. You sing pretty.”

“You’re not bad yourself,” she said, lowering her head at him as she started walking away. “See you around, okay?”

He nodded, waving while his eyes followed her leave the stage, Chanyeol’s arm hastily bouncing on to his shoulders. “Yo, Suho said manager wanted to talk to us. D.O is in for so much trouble.”

Baekhyun, a little stunned, couldn’t do much of it now; stealing glances maybe could be just the start of something far better than awkward introductions.
