(no subject)
So, I haven't had a real update in this thing for awhile now, I suppose it's time. I recently bought a new computer. It was a little over $800 and I still feel awful about spending that much money. Ah well, it was something I've been wanting for a long time now. I recently also got some school information in and will probably be signing up soon. It's one of those mail-order things so I can do the work pretty much whenever I want. Hopefully I will be certified as a pharmacy tech within the next year. Yay me! The generator boom created by Katrina is now over, meaning we now are dealing with production cuts and lay-offs at Generac. A few people from the stator department were walked-out Friday morning. Personally, I'm not worried. I have more seniority than most people there and I've set production records in a few stations I've worked in. I'm fairly confident that my job is secure until I get my certification and get a better job, just so long as I keep going the way that I have been. As for what's going on with me today, I am currently backing up my hard drive files on disk and about an hour ago became a non-blonde. Yeah, I finally decided to dye my hair black, which is going to take some getting used to. Currently, I feel as though i am wearing a wig. Wierd.
