today was okay
so today i woke up at noon. I ment to get up early but thats usually what happens with me. I went to the bank for my mom got my meds filled and went to some trift stores. I went to a couple of little places looking for pool skimmers. I didnt want to have to go to walmart but i didnt find any pool skimmers so i guess i will have to go to that big ugly store. The best find today was at big lots. I got a new tripod thats a regular sized one for 9.99. I was so happy i wanted to cry because it was so cheap and they are never that cheap. Its has all the features of my other tripod and it came with a bag. I still wish i knew what happend to my quick release on my other tripod because i really like it and it means a lot to me that tripod. It was a gift.
I got some other stuff. Some frames to make canvis out of, the book Knitting made easy, a blue shirt, and a cork screw for my friend mikey. I also bought a yellow bottle that i plan on cutting the bottom off of to see it i can do it because a freind bought these candle holders and they are only colored bottles with the bottoms cut off and wire inside holding a tea light. I was like i can make that so I bought a pretty yellow bottle today.
I am currently reading the book me talk pretty one day by david sedaris. mikey let me borrow it to read. I plan on finishing it tonight.
I started it yesterday and was up all night reading it. Thats what happens when you sleep all day and theres nothing going on at night. Well thats what i do when i am in a house with a slow internet connection.
All the stories in this book are a great and a lot are really funny. Its all short stories of things that happend to him in his life.
In the book after this one i read one of the storied already because mikey made me the other day. It is about the author finding a book in the woods that is about a family that has wild sex with each other and then the parents bring other people into it and the kids are all game. He takes the book home and all of his sisters finally see it and then it ends up in his parents hand to keep it. Finally the author throws it into the back of a pick whos owner discovers the book when he arrives back at his vicheal. He readys a little of the book looks around to see if anyone is looking and puts the book in his pocket and leaves the parking lot.
It is a really funny story. I lot funnier than my little blurb but that is the jist of it.
Tomorrow I plan on going home and getting things done. I hope so anyway. I would like to have a garage sale on saturday i need some moneys. I also need to find a job and i think school starts on monday so I need to do things.
Well this is interesting to me at least. I googled david sedaris who is the author of the book i am reading. Looking at his wikipieda entry i found this his sister amy sedaris played jerri black on the show Strangers with Candy.
Its weird because she is a lot younger and better looking than jerri lol
aaahhh the magic of makeup.
Myspace is weird because i have friends that are people that i haven't talked to in probably 2 or 3 years that i haven't seen in that long. I always wonder if i should talk to them but when i try it rarely every goes past the hey hows it going what have you been up to stage....
Its also place where real life drama can be started i've see in happen.
Also one of my best friends came out on myspace first and shocked the hell out of me. Another one of my best friends writes blogs on myspace or used to and wrote about how her boss was mean to her. and she put in the name of the store that she worked at and the corprate office has something where everytime someone types the name of the store on the internet that it sends it to them. So her boss's boss read all the stuff that she put about her manager and the manager got in trouble because it was all true. So that was pretty weird.
anyway i am off to read more of this good book ta ta
