why do my friends no longer write in their journals?

is this to remind me that i have a slacker job?
it's funny how i was so excited about working in france - 12 hours a week, 5 weeks paid vacation.
really though, it's not ideal. i spend most of my time bored out of my mind and in my room (which lately is less mold and spider-full)
very interesting.
maybe im just too american - ive thought that a lot this trip.
things feel so much different than they did in Tours.
