new and old lives collide
Today at my brand new job, an incredibly interesting exchange took place. A woman who I haven't met yet comes into the office at 5pm after finishing a two day-long training. Another woman in the office asks:
How was the training?
The training was good but the venue was the pits!
Really, where was it?
It was at some place off Bethnal Green Road.
It wasn't (insert name of community centre where yours truly runs the food coop), was it?
Yeah, that's where it was, How'd you know?
