I bought another Rio Karma this weekend. This makes #4. Don't know what I'll use it for. The other three are allocated: one for Christmas music, one for workout music, and one for general use. Each of the three has some issue - two have bad power power buttons, and the other one's navigation button won't go "down." I wonder what new issues #4 will bring. It needs a new battery, for sure - I've already ordered it.
No, strictly speaking, I do not need another Karma. But I am compelled to try to buy them. I'm like the Mel Gibson character in Conspiracy Theory, except with Rio Karmas.
Although...I suppose I haven't been THAT bad about it. I think I bought #3 in 2007. I've bid on many others, though.
I wonder how long I can keep them alive? Maybe long enough for someone to come out with something that challenges its superiority. That would be the best scenario.
