wOOt! Catherine has had her first 100% no-accidents potty day!
I haven't really posted about it. We've been in potty-training mode for some time, now. We really tried it before I took my trip, but she wasn't ready then, so, after I got back, we just left it until after the holidays. It's been a little frustrating, but, over the last week or so, the concept seems to be clicking. Our incentive has been the Minnie Mouse panties I bought her. She knows that she can't wear them until she goes in the potty every single time. Obviously, we know that's not a hard and fast rule, but she doesn't.
My main concern is that she doesn't take the initiative to go, herself. If we say, "Okay, it's time to go to the potty!" she'll go, but, if we're distracted and don't, more often than not, she'll just go in her pants. So it does make me wonder how much of her success is because we put her there and how much is her waiting for us to do it.
