(no subject)
An uneventful but good weekend. I organized the pantry on Saturday - it desperately needed it. I have ten days before the in-laws descend. I'm hoping that, by the night before they arrive, all I have left to do is make sure the kitchen and guest bath are ship-shape, vacuum, and dust. Saturday night both Joe and I over-imbibed, took a jacuzzi, and then played Boom Blox on the Wii. Do you know how hard it is to maneuver a Wiimote when you're three sheets to the wind?
Yesterday, we took Catherine to church. She was pretty good - good enough that we feel comfortable going more regularly now. After that, we went to breakfast, and there was a clown doing balloon animals. Cat was fascinated with that, and just loved the balloon animal (Bugs Bunny - because she had her stuffed bunny with her).
I didn't actually accomplish much yesterday. Made chili, which was pretty yummy. Of course, I forgot to bring my lunch with me today and won't have time at lunch to get it, so I'm bummed.
Joe's in Albuquerque till Wednesday night.
