You know the commercials for the Windex Outdoor All-in-One? The window cleaning thing? Where she cons her husband into cleaning the pool while she washes the giant windows in no time at all?
IT IS THE MOST WONDERFUL PRODUCT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE.
We have something like 20 upstairs windows - some of them large picture windows and sliding glass doors, and I've done half of them in less than half an hour. Mind you, we've lived in this house for seven and a half years and I've never washed the windows before (yeah, I know), so they were pretty dirty. And now, while they're not PERFECT, the law of diminishing returns tells me that I could spend all day on them and they wouldn't look that much better than they do now. The hardest part has been getting the screens out, and I do still have to wash those, but a once over with a hose and a wet sponge will take care of them, and they'll be done.
And now that I know it's this easy, I will wash my windows considerably more often than once every seven years.
