All weekends are good. Must remember that.
Friday was spent suffering from a collosal sinus headache. Joe took pity on me and made mac & cheese with sausage for dinner, even though he'd been working in the yard all day with the plant guys, which was super. Not all of the plants are in, hence no pix yet.
Saturday was spent playing with Catherine. A run to Home Depot (I wanted to get that Windex window-cleaning thingie - my windows are a disgrace) and the grocery store, but mostly Cat. She's just a delight. So busy all the time. And affectionate.
Sunday was cleaning up in anticipation of the parents visiting to see the plants and meet the dog. They brought their own dog with them, and she and Becky just hit it off like a house afire. Much running and playing, culminating with Becky knocking one of the cacti out of its hole and getting many thorns in her paws.
I started some work on the scrapbook I'm doing for Cat's first year. I'm a little paralyzed by the Cricut - so many options! So much I can do! I was just flummoxed last night. So I fell asleep on the sofa watching Pirates of the Caribbean 3 instead.
