WHY?
Why can't President Attention Whore leave alone a single major event without gracing it with his Messianic presence? WHY?!
I suppose I could handle him throwing out the first pitch. I'd need a barf bag, but I could do it. I handled Billy Jeff doing it when Jacobs Field opened in 1994, after all, and that was MY TEAM.
So first pitch - we're okay. But WHY does he have to infiltrate the booth during the game itself? I'm going to have to hear him speak, and I have tried my level best to avoid that these last six months both because what he says makes me so angry I get dizzy, and because I cannot bear listening to his angry sing-song tone longer than a standard sound byte.
I'm either going to have to not watch the second inning (thank you, Major Garrett, for telling us when he'd be there) or turn off the sound. But there will probably still be a camera - ugh.
