Pet peeve of the day
People who call the leading PDF program "Adobe." "Can you give me that document as an Adobe file?" "Can you open it in Adobe?" "Which version of Adobe do you have?"
Well, are we talking Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver...what? Oh, ACROBAT!
It's like saying, "Can you give me that document as a Microsoft file?" "Can you open it in Microsoft?" or "Which version of Microsoft do you have?"
'Cause, like, I'm running (on this very old computer, which can't handle much) Photoshop 7.0, Illustrator 8.0, InDesign 1.5, and Acrobat 7.0. And I can do at least SOMETHING with a PDF file in any one of them.
