(no subject)
I just didn't go back to work after lunch. Grace, in her inimitable fashion, says, "Oh, what, are you not feeling well?" when I called and told her I wasn't coming back. She sounded pissed, actually. Apparently she missed my almost complete inability to speak this morning.
I took a nap with the cat, and now I'm on my new computer. I had to put my extra video card in because it didn't have a DVI plug for the monitor (I'm just glad I HAD the extra video card, or I'd have had to haul out the old CRT.) And I've discovered that hard drives seem to no longer use IDE-type plugs, so I'll have to figure out how to get the other two drives into this thing. We'll see about Vista - there's every chance in the world that I'll go back to XP, but I'll at least give it a chance. I don't think I'm crazy about the wireless keyboard, but we'll give it a chance, too.
