Jul 18, 2011 23:52

 Title: Be Mine.
Author: Dave2380
Characters, Pairing: Finn, Will.
Summary: So when you figure out you aren't quite as straight as you thought, and who your ideal man is, well you have to go for it, right?
Rating: Back to PG.

Will was overly optimistic in his guess that it would be the next day before his glee kids would find out about his date from Adam. The blonde had actually sent out a mass message via facebook after he’d finished work. Which would have been round about the time Will’s couch was trying to cripple Finn.

So Will got some rather appraising looks from his glee kids all day, although in all fairness he didn’t help his case by turning up at school buckling up his belt when he left his car, and tying his tie on the way to his first class probably didn’t help. Of course when you added the rather large and conspicuous hickey and the way he was taking extreme care to sit down, well he was pretty sure the glee kids at least had an idea how his night had gone.

He just hoped they’d ignore it.

Boy was he delusional. He had Adam, Miranda and Elliot in his second class of the day and he was pretty sure those notes they were passing were about him, but if he got up and intercepted the note then he’d have to sit down again, and those cheap chairs Figgins had ordered were doing nothing for the ache in his ass.
He winced slightly as he shifted position, then winced even more when Miranda and Adam picked up on it and shared a significant look.

Damn it.

Finn’s morning was awesome, he napped for a couple of hours, then followed Will’s advice on the food front, after falling in love with the coffee blend that Will bought. It was when he found out that Will was a Cap’n Crunch kind of guy that he had a completely girly oh-my-god-he’s-perfect-for-me moment.

What, he could totally do that when he was alone. He had a bath in Will’s tub, which was really cool and probably could have held both of them, which was something to consider for future reference. Although he did wonder why there was no shower, before chalking it up to being a crazy ex wife thing.

He wavered for exactly five minutes before he decided to check out Will’s CD collection, which tended towards classic rock and Broadway, and the guy had actual records. One more reason to have a girly moment, come on, everyone knows vinyl just sounds better.

He decided to rein in his curiosity before he ended up going completely stalker-y and searching for photo albums and porn or weird and embarrassing family heirlooms. He wasn’t quite sure about just leaving Will’s apartment until he figured out that the door would lock behind him, cus nothing would suck more than being the idiot who didn’t lock your boyfriends door and let him get robbed.

But yeah, Finn’s morning was awesome.

Will’s afternoon didn’t get much better, having a glee club with members from every year, had seemed so promising. That was before they took advantage of being in his classes to co-ordinate their gossiping. Lunch had been unpleasant, seriously were those chairs in the teachers lounge designed to be ass-numbingly uncomfortable? Not to mention the probing looks from Emma and Shannon that the hickey on his neck drew.

The day felt like it would never end and he felt a great surge of relief when he could hide in his office and wait for Finn, especially as he’d heard the senior glee kids hanging around in the choir room during last period.

“Who knew he swung he both ways.” Miranda chuckled.
“Who knew he’d be the one taking it up the ass.” Elliot mused thoughtfully.
“Seriously, I can’t blame him, the guy’s tall, dark and gorgeous, and an excellent tipper.” Adam interjected.
“Oh, should Mr Schue worry about you stealing his man?” Miranda teased.
“Oh please, as if I’d be that tacky, when I want my own man, I’ll find him, now how about you help me come up with the perfect plan to get Annie to go to prom with me?”

So much for not being a topic of gossip. Will moaned in the safety of his office and hoped Finn wouldn’t be much longer.

McKinley is way less intimidating when you’re not a student, it’s also a relief when you don’t feel like your going to turn inside out with nerves because you’re going to ask out your teacher. Of course there’s still the lingering fear of a run in with Coach Sylvester but that’s pretty much inevitable.

Still he’s in a pretty good mood, which only gets better when he sees Will hovering rather anxiously inside his office. It gets even better when he gets an armful of Will. “Hey.” He smiles, “I could get used to a welcome like that.”

Will chuckled into his chest, “I’ll bear it in mind. Can we get out of here? There are gossipy gleeks in the building and I think they can smell anything juicy.”

Finn smiled and slung his arm across Will’s shoulder, “Sure, let’s bail.” Will grabbed hold of his messenger bag and slung it over his shoulder before slipping his arm around Finn’s waist. They almost made it all the way to the main entrance before they heard a bunch of whoops and catcalls from the gleeks trailing behind them.
“Get some Schuester!”
“Break me off a piece of that.”
“Why are all the hot ones gay?”

Finn was absolutely no help, bursting into a fit of completely manly giggles, barely managing to pull Will closer through his giggling fit. Will flushed that ever so appealing shade of red and looked back at the gleeks. “I have detention slips and I’m not afraid to use them, especially as Coach Sylvester owes me a favour.”

Miranda groaned, “That’s totally unfair, we’re just celebrating your epically hot boyfriend.” Will arched an eyebrow imperiously, “I’m more than capable of attending to that myself, did I mention that Sue’s planning to gut and refurbish the Cheerio’s locker room?” He grinned sweetly as the three senior gleeks shuddered and the colour drained from their cheeks.

Adam was the first to react, linking his arms with Miranda and Elliot’s, “Well, I’m sure we wish her the best of luck, now we really should get going. Have a nice weekend Mister Schuester. Come along guys.” He dragged them off down the hallway.

“Smart kid.” Finn mused.
“He has his moments.”
“So, what does “celebrating your epically hot boyfriend entail” then?” Finn asked with a wicked glint in his eye.
“Hmm I’m sure I’ll think of something.” Will murmured, dragging Finn down for a kiss. Finn’s lips curved up during the kiss and Will grinned back at him when they pulled back. “I could be down with that.”
Will’s grin was almost feral and made Finn shudder. “Good, now let’s split before Sue finds us and mocks my lesbian hair, or Emma tries to disinfect us.”

Finn laughed as Will’s hand patted him on the ass and they headed out of the School.
