Today:
4am- throw clothes in drying, crawl back in bed
4:40-Shower, get ready
5:40-Run out the door with breakfast in my mouth
5:41-Drive
7:15- Get to work late cause of dumb traffic.
7:16- Sit and wait for Jacob to come to housekeeping office
7:30-try radio to find Jacob
7:40-Jacob comes
7:41- Lay Newpapers in front of Occupied rooms
8:00- Scrub fireplace damper handles (oh goodie)
9:00-Back killing me, take a break
9:30-Start cleaning used fireplaces in rooms.
11:00-Lunch, teach Jacob how to use commas, periods, and apostrophies. Third English lesson of the day
11:30-Check fireplaces in rooms again
Intermission: I will never understant peoples determination to have a fire in their room. When its 89 degrees out side they open the balcony door, crank up the air conditioning and then light a cozy fire?????? Stupidity will never cease to amaze me.
12:00 Finish up, help strip beds of dirty sheets and towels.
1:00-Orientation. Aka, get paid for sitting and eating yummy cookies and coffee while HR manager gives a cool facts and protocol to follow at the lodge.
3:48- Orientation finally ends
3:51-bathroom, cause I drank way too much coffee.
3:55-Start commute home
5:46: Get home and crash. Eat and watch spiffy BBC mystery call Rosemarry and Thyme.
8:38-Realize my life has no meaning but eathing and sleeping and working.
9:00-Start computer
9:00:01 Fan falure on my computer
9:01-Take computer apart and vaccume dust
9:30 Give up, Makes mental note to get a computer braino to check it out
9:35 Logs onto internet and surfs around a bit
10:00- Posts journal entry and goes to bed.
