Bunny was hospitalized due to a bout of G.I. stasis sometime last month. So far he's recovered remarkably well and was discharged two days earlier than the estimated 5 days the vet said he might be hospitalized for!
While there, he kicked up a giant fuss when they tried to draw his blood for a blood test, resulting in a message from the vet informing me of the situation and explaining why the test results were delayed.
It was a really detailed report except I was a little thrown off by how all throughout she kept calling him "her" haha. I think she didn't realize the mistake because the official discharge report referred to him as a girl too. My rabbit is a trap orz.
But seriously, all these repeated trips to the vet is draining me dry emotionally and financially. Eat your hay, you stupid little furball. ;n;
I was desperate enough to google "rabbit not eating hay" and came across this forum that mentioned that when pellets were taken away, a couple of bunnies chose to starve till they developed G.I stasis. What is this? A hunger strike? How is your survivor instincts not kicking in at all??? щ(ಥωಥ;щ)
Celebratory macarons from Ladurée!
Holy shit, it's the most expensive macarons I've had to date but I've been craving these ever since Kai mentioned it!
It came up to about S$4.75/piece because we chose to get the 8 piece gift box set. (╥﹏╥) /diessss
There's a Singapore limited edition box available too but I picked the prettier mauve Palais Galliera one instead!
Idk how he just knows when there's food/sweets around but no way I'm sharing this with you, bunny!
Flavours clockwise from top row left: Salted Caramel, Rose Petal, Ghana Chocolate, Pink Pepper*, Yuzu Ginger*, Pistachio, Orange Blossom, and Strawberry Candy Marshmallow. (*seasonal flavours)
Look at how gorgeous the texture and shape is, I'm in love. ♥ ♥ ♥ ╮(´﹏` ╮)
The flavours weren't as interesting as some of the others I've had but I think what justified Ladurée for me were the shells. Crisp with right amount of chewiness!
My personal favourites were Rose Petal, Strawberry Candy Marshmallow, Yuzu Ginger and Pink Pepper.♡
The rest weren't bad per say, just that they didn't suit my tastes as much. Gonna try their Lemon, Liquorice, Raspberry and maybe Gingerbread next time!
Since we're on the subject of sweets, there's a
Green Pumpkin Japanese bakery that I've taken a shine to recently. They have a pretty neat selection of cakes!
- Yuzu Swiss Roll. Very light and fresh. S$3.80
- Macarons Framboise. Super pretty but a little difficult to eat seeing as it's the size of my palm. S$5.50
- Marie. A cute heart-shaped strawberry mousse and pistachio cream cake. S$5.80
From left: Käsekuchen, a German rare cheese cake with peach S$5.50 and Chiboust Aux Fruits Rouge, marshmallow mousse with red berry essence. S$5.80
I never have the time to sit at their cafe so I usually buy one or two small cakes home when I'm in the area. ( ̄∀ ̄;)
If you like cupcakes though, you can't go wrong with
twelve cupcakes.
I actually like how they're slightly smaller in size, less is more sometimes!
The cupcakes are S$3 each, S$17 for half a dozen but I'm a cheapo and only get them when it's close to closing time and there's a discount for it haha.
Dessert Cup is a another cupcake place that's been fast gaining popularity.
Their cupcakes are huge though, and costs S$4.50~S$6/pc. Pretty expensive ngl!
Can't deny that they sell really pretty pastries though. Just look how adorable these
Macaron Choux are!
Ugh it's really no secret that I'm a stress eater of the sweets variety. When the going gets tough, the sweets come rolling. (ノ;︵;)ノ 彡 ┻━┻

Mini craft for dummies time! I have a lot of empty photo frames in my house 'coz I haven't had the time to sort and print out photos for them yet. Here's how to fill them up temporarily with items lying around the house really fast.
You'll need:
- used magazine/s of your choice
- frames
- double sided tape
- scissors
- decorative paper
- stickers
- ruler, cutting mat and penknife
Just cut out some pics you like, stick it on the decorative paper that's been cut to fit the frame and paste stickers haphazardly, voila! Simple and quick!
The actual work takes only about 5mins each but before you start, it's best to roughly think up a theme so you don't end up with mismatched stuff. Alternatively, buy pretty patterned fabrics and cut them to fit the frame. There's less craft work involved but more time and money invested in shopping for the fabrics you like.
For fabrics though, I'd suggest frames with some depth or thickness to them, looks prettier!
Lately I'm a lot more interested in home deco and DIY stuff than drawing. Very Pinterest, I know.
Things I want to try doing when I have the time:

DIY jewelery stand♦

painting vinyl flooring Sticking these here because well, I don't actually have a Pinterest. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚'✿,。・:*:・゚
