you will (kiss me) go

OMG I have a place to live in Maryland! :D YAY!! It is a small room in a quaint brick house in College Park, which I will be sharing with two other people. It is fairly close to the campus (though, it's a HUGE campus, and I'm not sure what side it's near, and hence if it will be a walkable distance to my buildings) and is also just a couple blocks away from a UMD shuttle stop.

Now I just need a job to pay for the room ... and, you know, textbooks and food (and funbooks) and such. =/ At the very least, I can be a library page (but in D.C. where they pay better), since there are almost always page positions open.

But I have a place to live and that is an excellent start. :)

Poem~~

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

up into the silence the green
silence with a white earth in it

you will (kiss me) go

out into the morning the young
morning with a warm world in it

(kiss me) you will go

on into the sunlight the fine
sunlight with a firm day in it

you will go (kiss me

down into your memory and
a memory and memory

i) kiss me (will go)

~ "[up into the silence the green]" by E.E. Cummings

I always love the imagery in Cummings' poems. ♥
