In other news, I think I may have been flirted at this morning by the Starbucks guy. :> (Not, incidentally, the Starbucks boy I have been quietly crushing on for months. A different one.) I was attempting to pay for my tea and croissant, and he asked how I was, as they do, but like he actually meant it, and so I asked how he was in return, and he gave me this big long story about how awful his day was. So possibly he just needed someone to vent to, but then I think he comped me for part of my order because I'm fairly certain there wasn't enough money on my gift card to pay for the tea and croissant exactly.
When I got home, I had ALA conference materials (there is so much to do! I am dizzy already!). And NASA will be at ALA! :D And I was just thinking earlier this week, Dude, how awesome would it be to work in a NASA library? Except I don't think I'm actually clever enough. I love the space sciences (and other sciences), but more in a casual way, so I don't know all the vocabulary and stuff. Plus, at a NASA library I probably wouldn't get to work with kids. So clearly my dream job is to work in a science library for kids. Bonus points if it's an international science library for kids!
I hope they have cool and inspiring job opportunities at ALA, so I can figure out what I want to be when I grow up (in December!). I hope there are job opportunities for next year, so I can be employed and make money and stuff.
