I mentioned a while ago that 2009 is the [ International Year of Astronomy ]. One of their events is 100 Hours of Astronomy, from April 2 through 5, for which there are many special events, local and international. Yay, Iowa!

And hey, Pluto isn't mentioned in that poem-- I wonder if it is for reasons of scanning or reasons of an astronomical sort? :P

Poem published in 1913.

Pluto discovered in 1930.

Pluto disowned in 2006.

So, hey, the poem is accurate once more! :)
