podfic requests!
It's amplificathon time again! YAY!! \o/
Guys, this means it's my one year anniversary of being a podficcer! :) If you have any interest at all in becoming a podficcer, please consider joining the challenge! It's points-based, but it's also just super-friendly and welcoming to everyone's voices. ♥
This year's challenge is open from 30 March through 1 June.
Y'all know I don't have a lot of free time this term, but I am still going to participate. I have a few projects in the works, but if you'd like to leave requests, I'll see what I can do. :) The point of the challenge is to diversify the collection at general_jinjur's audiofic archive, so think of it as a small fandom fest, like Yuletide. (In fact, Yuletide is a great place to look for story suggestions.) (Also, Merlin is still a small fandom.) The challenge is also meant to diversify pairings represented, so if there's smaller pairings in bigger fandoms, that's also fair game. (Though, I don't do stories that mess with my own OTPs, sorry.) (Also, gen counts as a pairing.)
No guarantees that I'll get to requests in a timely fashion, but I shall try! For greater possibility, I'll say 1,000-3,000 words or so. You can, of course, request something higher, but that's probably my limit in terms of getting things done for the contest (considering how long it's taken me to record the ~10,000 worder that still needs editing). Lower word count is okay, too, but I feel kind of silly recording something that comes out to less than five minutes. But if you wish it, I shall do it! I prefer to record in fandoms I'm familiar with, so just ask if you're not sure what I'm into. Please note, I don't do graphic sex or RPF.
