Yeah, it was a rather stupid class. The concepts weren't even really multiple choice-worthy. It was full of terms that all sound alike and really subtle differences in definitions, and generally stuff that would have been much better tested in an essay. (Laziest prof ever or what?)
I was willing to understand the emphasis on group work because we're supposed to be good at interacting with colleagues and stuff, but we had the same group all term. For six projects. And I didn't even get to choose my group because I was one of the sad people left without a group when everyone buddied up with their friends and then had to be inserted into a group by the TA. Which, they were nice and fortunately we all worked well together, but I thought the point of group work was supposed to be getting to know people as well as working with others, so I was rather annoyed by having the same group. We could have at least switched at the midterm. Boo. (And, also, yeah, I hate not having control over part of my grade. That was a lot harder in my other class term project because the guy doing the write-up for our group ... kind of did a horrible job and I was all twitchy and upset over it, but we got a good grade in the end (probably mostly because the prof was an engineer rather than a humanities-type person and therefore not upset by all the weird sentences).)
