Project Azuki Part 4: Redhill, Selegie & Balestier

REDHILL

Randomly decided on having claypot rice one night at ABC market. To a 'non-soup' person, the 西洋菜汤 was surprisingly nice (and cheap)!

SELEGIE

Hot tau-huay (in soyabean milk) - healthy
Youtiao - unhealthy
Combined - POWER!!!

Not to mention the cheap thrill of eating beside a long waiting queue, heehee

So-so pankcakes... interesting to see the many types of sweet and savoury pancakes they have though. Upstairs seating recommended.

BALESTIER

Duck rice at Balestier (Jalan Datoh). I'm still bewildered as to why they served duck meat with chicken rice. I had wanted black yam rice, humph.

Was supposed to have gui lin gao but ended up tempted by the desserts instead - yam sago with lotus seed and chestnut sago with egg puree

Opps Project Azuki is not meant to be a food blog. Shall try to update on things done next time. Bloggng about all these make me hungry again...
