And Spring semester begins...

Jan 20, 2005 23:01

So school started back up on Wednesday. I've only had 2 classes and the homework is already piled on. Although, I guess it's just a lot of reading. The classes I did have seem pretty good and the professors seem really chill. I am taking Electronic Commerce, Organizational Behavior, Marketing Research, Aids and Emerging Infections, and my internship.

I had my first day at the internship, and it was just okay. The woman who is supposed to get me situated has been out sick, so she was busy just catching herself up, so I didn't do much at all. Hopefully, it will get better. Especially since I am spending so much time there. Apparently a Business major has to complete 12-15 hrs a week at an internship to get 3 credits, where Psych, Sociology, English majors and the like only have to complete 8 hrs. Plus, it's easier for them to get double credits for their internships. So they could work 8 hrs for 6 credits, while I work 12 hrs for 3 credits. Bummer. It's an even bigger bummer, because of the amount of hours required, I can't work at Admissions this semester. So I lose money and don't get to work with the seniors again before the graduate. It makes me sad.

I don't really have anything else to say, I'm just putting off reading or sleep.
How's everyone else's school going?
