Pampers and protects
So it is finals week. My last class was on Monday. I had to do a group presentation, (which I hate), but it went well enough. My group worked 10:30-3 on Wednesday, 10:30-6 on Friday, 12-2 on Sunday, and STILL met before class on Monday to go over the presentation. Abgrab gives the worst group assignments. We also already had her final the week before. My Business Ethics class has no final, in fact our last graded assigment was before Thanksgiving break. I had my digital imaging critique was last night, which was super easy.
Tonight is actually the only final I have. For some reason, I'm finding it really hard to study for. I just can't commit to it. Maybe if I was a Corporate Finance whiz, such as Ms. Danielle H., I'd be ok. But either way, I'm not that worried.
I have decided to do the internship at Tiffanie Williams & Co. next semester, so hopefully that goes well. I told Elaine I couldn't work at admissions next semster and she seemed sad. I'm also not gonna get to work with the seniors anymore after break. :-(
I am beyond pumped for Christmas, yes I am. Anything will be better than last Christmas.
I'm totally just babbling on to avoid studying.
Alex is the best boyfriend ever. The other night I randomly started to try to make elephant noises. I don't know why, I am just odd. Turns out, I'm can't do elephant noises, but Alex is awesome at them. His family probably thinks we are the weirdest people. Imagine hearing elephant noises coming out of his bedroom for 15 min? CRAZY.
So my mom just got home from the doctors. She had surgery on her shoulder Dec. 7th. She had her shoulder dislocated 3 times, and a torn rotator cuff in the matter of a 2 month period. The dislocation stretched her ligament (sp?) and created a loop in it, which is why her shoulder kept dislocating. She was supposed to be out of school for about 4 weeks. Well, today at the doctors, she was told it was worse then they realize, cause the dislocations caused a dent in another ligament. So she's going to be out of school for the next 3-4 MONTHS now. She retires in June, so maybe she won't even go back. Hopefully she won't have another surgery, cause then recovery will be even longer. I feel bad for her, cause she can't do anything. She can't drive, so she stays in all day, but she can't even do anything.
