MIKE !!! R U SERIOUS ??? ANOOTHER ONE?!??! GOSH.... CALI!!! THIS ONES FOR U...AND THE PP!!
dang, that looks horrible, if u want the original come IM me...
heres a story
I look up at see the VCR clock switch to 7:07 with a small red dot next to the PM sign. They’ll be here soon, I think to myself. I continue to watch Road Rules on my couch, because the tables and chairs are already set up and I have nothing else to do. Finally! A knock on the door, someone was here “come in!!!” Of course, it was David. Always punctual, maybe it’s because he has a classic firebird with a V8 engine, which means he breaks the speed limit all the time. The blue mist color only completes the classic 80’s look with the original decal still on the hood with the T-top open. He parked in his usual parking spot, right in front of my mailbox.
He sat down and started shuffling his round Coca-Cola cards. After a couple minutes the rest of the Party Posse showed up. Jared (aka Fich) sat in his normal chair decorated with his good luck charms (Under Armor headband and wristbands), while Brett (Skater Brett) pulled out his chips and took a seat. I see that Nate (aka Skat boy) just pulled up in his 88 Honda. He too, puts his money in the jar and pulls up his chair to begin the summer ritual.
The chips are divided, the posse is all set, all we need is the “Poker Mix.” I walk over to the computer after being yelled at by a few of the Party Posse members and turn on the sweet poker mix. Immediately “Mmmmbop” starts playing and the group of jocks/nerds start dishing out cards, putting on poker faces, and lie their way through bluffs.
After the four minutes and two seconds of “Mmmmbop” the song changes and “Stary Eyed Surprise” begins to play. Once-in-a-while a newcomer comes down in the basement and pulls another seat up, or we stop and watch an Olympic event. “Michael Phelps is amazing!” “There’s no way Paul Hamm can win now.” “Well lets just watch.” “OH MY GOSH!!! HE DID IT!!! U! S! A! U! S! A!” The laughter of the friends keeps my parents upstairs up till 1 in the morning. No matter how many chips, sodas, or cookies someone brings, they all would be gone by the time the night is done.
The time has come to close down the basement and have the friends leave. They count their chips and take home their winnings or their coveting hearts as we all walk out the door next to each other.
