Esprit de Corps (by any other name)

Anyway, the full-blown doc is still chugging along, however, I just finished the 5-page "Quick Creation" rule section, which actually serves quite well as a guideline for things at this point.

One thought that I've had is this question -- perhaps I should consider writing these rules less with the intent to publish them, at least on paper, and more with the intent of eventually putting them into a hypertext format (even as simple as a private wiki or something).  Pairing that with certain printable resources (like the creation guidelines, which would also be a totally interlinked page in the wiki)...  Is changing the "focus" of the project away from a paper-based, and towards a web-based project, with the ability to print things as needed, a good idea?  Thoughts? (Tangential props to Adam for this thought lingering in my head)

I think the realizations I've come to are that:
1) there's no money to be made in rpg design, so I should only be doing it for fun.
2) essentially being a 1-man design team is very difficult and sometimes discouraging -- I really want to get this sucker to the stage that other people can contribute (for example, Magic being the huge pain in the ass that it is, once I feel good about my magic guidelines, which I'm still banging on, I'm going to basically turn Brendan loose on the magic section, to develop whatever, then I'll review and edit -- another benefit of the Wiki idea).  Plus, this might also get other people interested and personally invested in the creation of the game.
3) I've borrowed influences from many systems and, while I've changed a lot of things and written a lot of new stuff, I really don't want to go through the effort required to fine-tooth examine everything enough to make sure there is not a copyright infringement lurking somewhere, and instead focus on making the most playable, kickass system I can.
4) There is no fucking spoon.
