"Hannie!" A groan and a nicely thrown pillow toward the door was his answer. Heechul dodged the pillow, grabbing his hair and ran away for Donghae who'd just walked in through their front door. A couple minutes later, a bouncy boy by the name of Donghae was pushed through the doors. "Hyung! We're hungry. Can you cook us something?" When no answer was received, he jumped onto the bed where he thought his legs would be but when he didn't feel anything under him besides the crumpled sheets, he shifted around. "Hyung? where are you~? I'm going to find you~" He sifted through the sheets when a bump of something caught his eyes. Was it just him or did that moving bump look a lot smaller than his hyung was? He pulled the sheets off and found a child there, no older then 5 rubbing the sleep from his eyes and scratching a familiar mop of golden brown hair.
Donghae scrambled off the bed and ran out the door screaming. "Heechul hyung!" Colliding with Siwon even before he reached Heechul, he grasped Siwon by the collar and pointed at the room. "Donghae, calm down, you look like you've seen a ghost!" "g-ghost? no! it's worse! I-i saw an ALIEN!!" The sound of small shuffling feet on the tiled floors caused Donghae to point at something behind Siwon and scream. Siwon, being the calm one, turned around and saw a small child in a shirt that was mountains too big for him with stubby legs and a cute face. "Who are you?" "Very funny, Siwon-ah." Heechul's eyes widened as there was only one person he knew with an accent like that despite the change in voice. "Hannie?" "what, rella?" Heechul knelt down on the floor and took out the compact in his pocket. "You've been mini-sized, hannie."
Shindong, who'd come to visit from the other dorm across the hall, greeted everyone with a wave and a sniff of the air. "Hankyung's making pancakes?" Eunhyuk, who'd been sitting on the couch with Kyuhyun, looked over and shrugged. "In a way." shindong strolled into the kitchen expecting to see Hankyung standing over the stove or cutting up some sausages. Well, there was cutting and there was someone standing over the stove but he wasn't sure he knew the little guy. Under the supervision of Ryeowook and Heechul, a small child was bustling around throwing eggs and sausages into a skillet and flipping pancakes in another. "did we hire a slave?"
Ryeowook took notice of him without taking his eyes off the small chef. "no. That's hankyung. He insisted he should still cook." "Han- did Donghae see him?" " He did and freaked out like crazy but i think he's better now. He's in the other room with Yesung. " Shindong shrugged and sat down at the table watching the smaller Hankyung try desperately to stay on the precariously swaying stool. But before Shindong could even open his mouth to warn them, Heechul already had hankyung in one arm and the skillet in the other. "I told you not to do that, Hannie, You'll get hurt!" Ryeowook and Shindong raised an eyebrow at heechul's obvious out of character-ness while trying to put the pancakes onto plates.
Breakfast was uneventful. Well, as uneventful as telling everyone that one of their members had, yet again, turned into a 5 year old. "first leader-shi, then Heechul hyung. Now Hankyung-hyung. Was it something you ate, maybe?" Sungmin looked from each of the hyungs and shoveled pancakes into his mouth. "Should we tell Leeteuk-hyung?" "Tell me what?" Leader-shi walked into the dining room handing out schedules. "It's scary how he does that." Shindong whispered to Sungmin as Ryeowook answered his question by pointing at Heechul, who now had hankyung on his lap. "That's Hankyung." Leeteuk grimaced as Heechul gave hankyung a particularly hard pinch to the cheek. "maybe it's a virus." siwon walked up to Leeteuk and took hankyung's schedule. "I'll finish what I can on his. Just notify them that I'll take Hankyung's place."
Heechul left soon with a wave and his signature smirk plastered over his face. Under much convincing, from Hankyung, he left. With no schedule to worry about that day, he decided to clean the house. But looking around, the house seemed so much larger. He sighed and slumped onto the floor. "Don't worry about it Hannie, We'll clean later." Siwon sat on the floor beside him and pulled him towards a strong chest. Placing a reluctant kiss on Hankyung's chubby cheeks, Siwon left mumbling about something along the lines of "why does everything happen to me?" The moment the door closed again, Hankyung finally thought of something he could do. Grocery shopping. He ran for his wallet and keys before pulling on the jacket that Leeteuk had so kindly found for him.
Crossing the street was a challenge within itself. He pushed the button but a large crowd had stood in front of him so he almost got run over by a motorcycle by the time he got off the sidewalk. Sighing in relief as he took that first step into the market, he tried to grab a cart. To his dismay, he found himself too short to even reach for the top of the cart. Grumbling, he grabbed a basket and ran off, pulling a list out of his pocket. Tomatoes. He could do that, right?
An hour later, when he'd finally accumulated all the things he needed, he pulled his overflowing basket towards the register. Pulling out his wallet, a middle aged woman spotted him. "Did you find that wallet, son? well give it here. I'll hand it to the lost and found." She snatched up the wallet and saw his I.D. on the inside. She let out a shriek of excitement and some other middle aged women came running. Before long, he had a whole crowd giggling around his wallet. "can i have that back? It's mine." "You're lying, young man. You're not 25 and a super star. " the other women walked off with his wallet in hand. Hankyung took a look at the full basket on the floor and the emptiness in his hand where his wallet used to be. He felt the frustration building up inside him as he walked out of the store empty handed.
A couple minutes and 5 doors later, Hankyung found himself lost. He'd encountered a fish shop, a restaurant and somewhere else he didn't want to mention. Sitting down on the curb of a quiet street, he pulled out his cell phone, dialing a very familiar number. "Yeobosaeyo?" "H-hyung? c-can you come get me? I-I'm lost. I just wanted to cook something good for you guys but now my wallet's stolen and I'm lost!" Through the phone, Hankyung heard crashes and very poorly covered up swearing. "Give me a description of what you see around you. You're still in Seoul right?" Hankyung felt his eyes brimming with tears and nodded. When he realized Heechul couldn't see him, he whispered out a "y-yes." Heechul told him to stay where he was and that he'd be there soon.
Not even 10 minutes later, he heard a crowd of women screaming their heads off even before he saw him. Heechul came running past them still dressed in the clothes from his photo shoot with a grim looking Siwon following close behind. "Hannie, are you okay?" Siwon hefted him up from the curb and hurried Heechul back into the car. "I still don't understand how you wandered over half a mile in the opposite direction of home." Dropping Hankyung back at home, Siwon and Heechul gave him a kiss and told him not to take a single step out of the house for his own safety.
Taking a look around the house, hankyung found nothing he could do that he usually did. While rummaging around the living room, through all the fans' gifts, he found a pile of white paper and some color pencils. Frowning at the items, he shrugged and laid on his stomach, turned on the television and started to scribble. Drawing little people, Hankyung drew a flowery man and a muscular man next to him. As an after thought, he added another man with brown hair, smiling with his arm around them both. Smiling at his accomplishment, he taped it to the refrigerator.
"Anyone seen Hannie?" Yesung shook his head but Ryeowook smiled. "go get a drink heechul-hyung." Raising an eyebrow at him, Heechul moved to the fridge and spotted the pictures. Flowers decorated the border but the people in it were still the same. a click and a squeak later, Heechul crept into their dark room with Siwon in tow. "There he is." Siwon pointed, waving his arms around wildly. There laid hankyung, on top of their bed, covers on the floor. Heechul made a motion to wake him but reconsidered and slipped onto the bed quietly, wrapping his arms protectively around the unfamiliar body. Pulling the sheets off the floor and fanning it over the three of them, Siwon draped an arm over Heechul's slim shoulders and fell victim to sleep.
Hankyung, normal-sized, walked to the breakfast table the next morning. "I'm back." He received a hug from Siwon and a whack on the head from Heechul. "What the hell?" "took you long enough." Siwon handed Heechul the newspaper and a moment later, a warm brown liquid assaulted Hankyung's face. "I'm on the news! This time it's not a scandal! For being nice to a little kid?!" Hankyung barely had time to wipe the coffee off his face before Heechul pounded against him in an attempt to hurt him. His dramatic display got worse and when he'd asked what was wrong, the answer was: "my image is ruined! I'm supposed to be a bad ass princess, not someone that cares about civilians!"
