The iTrip sucks for long car rides. The interface is terrible - you have to play a song that encodes the radio station that you want to broadcast on. So you'll be driving along, listening to something, when an interfering broadcast will come on. So you have to find another station on your radio that is broadcast free. Then you have to find the right song file to play for that frequency on your iPod (which means navigating away from what's currently playing). After the iTrip figures out which station you want, you have to go back and find whatever song you were playing before switching stations. Repeat every hour or two.
