getting a few things off my chest
first here is the clip that aired on the local news about the park I work at

no I was not in it.... but the bitch i hate is ... in fact she out of the three people that were interviewed had the longest bit ... and yeah maybe this is a little bit of sour grapes... but i had to go give a talk at a local library ... the talk had been scheduled months out ...this was comparitively last minute... what i am miffed about was that she talked about education junk and was suppose to be talking about resources and the prairie... which she didnt mention almost at all.... or rather thats how the clip turned out ...she is standing in the prairie while she is talking so *shrugs*..... plus she hates the interp side..she will never say that to anyone with higher rank than herself.... but i hear it all the time.... so i dont what her as our spokes person... also my counter part Tom only got a tiny clip in there.... he was well spoken but you cant even see his face.. her face is loud and proud.... not only that shes in the oldest work shirt ever and not something dress worthy .. where as both rob and tom are in dress uniforms ... the shirt shes wearing isnt even whats work issued now .... and the patch is different ....she never follows dress code..... it really bothers me ...
anyway the clip is good and says nice things about the park and no one really looks too stupid ... so i suppose thats all that really matters .... thing is ... im still a tad sad... cause most of my friends who are interpreters at other parks have gotten the oppertunity to do this and its just one more thing at this job i dont get the oppertunity to do
Second .... i think this is the last vacation i take with my roommate..... i mean i like her ok .... but this would have been a much better vacation with someone more outdoorsy..... we are staying in this tiny house ... which is nice.... the down stairs smells a bit funny but i am not staying down there and i doubt that she can smell it ... and she hasnt been feeling really good... let me start by saying that im in Colorado ..... which just being here is wonderful in and of itself.... so i should really stop complaining all together .... but we went to garden of the gods yesterday and spent im not kidding a total of 5 min out of the car..... i really wanted to go on the 45 min interpretive walk... being that thats what i do and alll i really like doing that kind of thing and learning fro the experience...
the reason i am here is because on my life list is to go to a concert at red rocks ampitheater ...... and so i guess its on hers as well.... i mean come on really who wouldnt want to .. so she is in love with kings of leon atm and convinced me that i should go see them at red rocks with her...... so thats tonight at 8pm...
but today we arent doing anything .... i amnot sure what that means but i have been upfor over an hour with no sign of her.... dont know if shes finally sleeping in or what .... she says shes always up at 5:30 anyway because of the dogs..... i think its more she has a sleep issue and wont go get it looked at ... anyway not the point .... she woke me up early on friday morning ... we were up at about the same time yesterday ... today not so much .. she could be a bit altitude sick ... yesterday there were some issues in our jaunt to pikes pike.... its was fun we rode the cog railway .... i had wanted to go to bolder for the morning till mid afternoon today but i think i have been over ruled.... if shes not up in a few min im gonna go into the hot tub myself and screw her..... and part of why she havent done a whole lot is because he back has been hurting ... cramps and such .... which i kinda feel bad about you know .... but in other ways she not one much of walking so eveywhere we have gone even if it was just a few blocks was in the car.... im so the type of person that would rather ditch the car and go exploring on foot....
anyway ... maybe if shes isnt up soo ill just go walk myself the couple miles to morrison and play tourist for a few hours ... *shrugs*
