(no subject)
so does this mean after this weekend i can add hurricane to my list of natural disasters ....
this might be the worst .... not sure yet ... though i have already dont the flooding rains several times ... *shrugs*
so i have heard it said that hurricanes are like snow days for southerners
might be true .... though its a lot of work .... the prep before hand ...
theres a run on milk bread eggs and paper products ....
i think there is always too much of a run on flashlights ... every time we have had hurricane mentioned the flashlights are all gone ..... now this seems silly of course because if you bought them the last time you wouldnt need them this time ... now that batteries i can totally understand ... and theres never any D size batteries ....
and the waters all gone ... now ... see thats what i dont know .. how much someone would really consume in any given time .. how long the average time your acutally without potable water.... it would seem that no one much is unless its a total worse case senario .... which of course is what you are trying to prepare for ...
its just odd...
and of course work is closed tomorrow ... but im off anyway ... so its like being closed on a weekend ... kind sucky for me ... and most likely it will be open for me to return on sunday .... fun huh ... which also mean most likely lots of clean up ... weee... at the very least un doing all the hurricane prep we did ....
but i guess maybe its just the weekend blahs ...or the snow day thing ... but its always so much better when you have good friends or family or a so to spend it with ..... instead theres my roommate ... and her sister and her sisters three kids... (who cant watch a movie without asking a zillion questions) ..... they are cute kids dont get me wrong ..... just a little spastic .. and coming from me thats a lot ... cause im all about the ooo shiny sorta thing ... ADD enough to have issues finishing a sentence .... but yeah anyway ...
