I had quite some evening yesterday. Started out at the hockey game, where Wisconsin experienced a devastating lost in overtime. That was pretty disappointing, but I did get to experience the game Rock-star style since my friend’s fiancé (I suppose he’s my friend too) is the press television/radio announcer guy for the games (he’s also the voice of the mallards).
After the game we went to the Nitty, convinced them that since it was Liz’s birthday yesterday she was still eligible for the free beer mug, and then we drank, and drank, and drank. Brittney and Sarah showed up, and it was really my first “girls night out” in such a long time (well girl’s night out minus Aaron, but he doesn’t really count.) I really needed it. Then, we got camera happy... and the rest is history.
As much fun that I had, I’m taking a break from drinking for a while.
In other news, job is going very well for the most part. I got a campaign soon with the Quaker Steak & Lube Restaurant chain and a TV show sponsorship going on in Florida; so exciting, I just hope in makes an impact and make RockAuto more known. Our office will be moving shortly, just down the street, but it’s going to be nice to have windows and a bigger place. Other than work, life has been pretty ok I guess. I miss certain things still, but Jessa is a survivor. She’s also sleepy. Good night.
