Last night was our small group Christmas party. The food was fantastic and we ended up having a lot of fun. First we played this game where there was a description of a carol (almost like a riddle) and you had to interpret what it was talking about. I thought it was really creative and fun (plus my team won!) Then we had our gift exchange and there was some really nice things. We ended up with this super comfy microfleece throw and some meat. Yes I said meat. Tiffany and her husband own a farm/ranch where they raise Texas Longhorns. So I'm really excited about using our meat :D Afterwards we played the pictionary telephone game where the first person writes a phrase, the second person draws out the phrase, and the next person has to write the phrase from the picture and so on. It got crazy pretty quickly with Santa getting hit by a plane or killing his reindeer but my favorite was Snowman Tom helping a cripple onto the Santa-bus ;) I love that game - it is always so funny. We watched a Charlie Brown Christmas carol which was fun but I've realized that I think what bothers me about it is that it seems to end so quickly. It almost seems unfinished. Like what happens with the play? Does it work out? These are things I think about...
On a side note Bee & Tom got us a cute little oil burner for a housewarming present :D I love it - I'm going to have fun figuring out where to put it :)
We don't have much to do tonight. I'm making my last loaf of cinnamon bread for my uncle & aunt and then we'll probably just chill out and play civ while we wait for the dough to rise. I sort of wish I was home today but its so nice and peaceful here I don't mind it so much.
But I probably should get back to work...
