Some stuff...
i) a video that illustrates really well what is wrong with the white-washing of Avatar's live-action version: New "Raisin in the Sun" Planned Cast
ii) have found numerous new funblogs to follow, largely via other people here. very exciting.
iii) accent performance THIS SATURDAY at the band shell in Waterloo park (assuming no rain - if so, moves to SLC) at 1:30pm with WRTT, the eng.jazz band.
iv) this would have been a hilarious conversation to overhear:
s: i rub your pregnant belly
r: i sure hope it's not a pregnant belly
s: me too... but i sort of hope it is.
...
s: *attacks* ahh, i want a baby inside youuuu
r: *laughs* i guess we'd better learn to care for ourselves, then.
s: and we need to learn how to make babies.
(he's probably going to kill me for sharing that ;) )
