[Anyone passing by house #21 will find Vyse camping out on the front lawn. Well, it's not as elaborate as camping, but he's stocked up on some food and has made himself quite comfortable on the grass.

Vyse is a man of his word and, as a follow-up of this conversation, he is waiting outside Fina's house until Ramirez lets him in. While he's here,

[Well hi there, boss. You get this actionderp heading up into town from CH3, planning on gathering some stuff for the raft - when he sees Vyse just... sprawled on the lawn. wthboss?]

Hey Vyse, what's going on? What're you doing with all... [Have a vague motion to the pile of Stuff there.] All that?

[No need to look so surprised, Sora. A guy can chill on someone else's lawn when he wants to, right? ... Uh.]

Oh, hey Sora. I'm uh... Waiting, I guess. Do you want the long story or the short one?

[It makes you look like a creeper, boss. Now this he's gotta hear - so Sora just sits right on down on the grass in front of Vyse, like a little kid at storytime.]

Long! Come on, short one's no fun.

[Sora's looking visibly worn out, tired and just kind of under it, though his energy seems to be the same as ever - or at least not noticeably different.]

[Being worn out isn't exactly a new thing in Luceti. It's sort of a pattern that every so often, every single resident becomes worn out. This village is a great source for stress, after all. So long as Sora's still the same old energetic guy he always is, Vyse won't comment on it.]

Well... Fina was returned by the Malnosso a few days ago. She's fine, but she'll need some time to recover. Ramirez, her childhood friend, is watching over her right now. He won't let anyone else in to see her, including me. So I told him I'd wait here until he thinks she's fit to see me.

[He pauses, then starts to chuckle.] It sounds a lot more insane when I try to explain it.

[Vyse totally needs to meet Luna so he has a Secret Weapon against Ramirez, considering how often she sends him into a tailspin. And Vyse totally underestimates the Disney bizarrely enthusiastic side of Sora's personality - because that's just the kind of thing Sora would do if he had to, too. And the kid starts to grin at that description.]

No, it's a great idea! So what else do you need, a tent? Sleeping bag? Maybe a cot or something, we could set it up right here-

[Oh Sora. This is why Vyse thinks you're awesome. Great minds really do think alike. He snorts in amusement, an equally wide grin on his face.]

As amazing as that sounds, I told Ramirez I'd sit out here in the freezing cold and rain if I had to. If I start making myself too comfortable, it's not really a challenge anymore.

Well, it's not just about me being here. Me and Ramirez, we didn't get along back in Arcadia. But he was taken from an earlier time, so he doesn't remember all the confrontations we had. He's really not a bad guy and I always told myself that if things had been different, we would've been friends. Luceti gave me that chance, so now I have to find a way to prove myself to Ramirez. I have to prove that I'm not a bad guy either and that I'll do anything for Fina.

[Yeah, that's something Sora can understand. He listens to Vyse explain things, starting to nod with sympathy about halfway through.]

Go for it, man. Fina's important to you - you gotta do what you can for her.

[Yes, he is speaking from experience here.]

Even if we can't get out of here, we can still be with the people we want to be with, right?

[That is definitely the motto Vyse has been sticking with for the past two years.]

That's the spirit! I'll definitely do whatever it takes to protect Fina and keep her safe. Then, when she's better, we can go out and do some fun things again. Maybe a barbeque near the lake.

[And Sora grins again - really, he's just going to keep enforcing Vyse's ideas, good or bad or whatever, these two are way too alike in so many ways.]

Yeah! That sounds great! It can be all the Blue Rogues, too, and everyone except the jerks like Yuber.

That'd be amazing! We'll have to stock up on a lot of meat if we're inviting that many people, though. And build multiple fires so there's enough barbeque for everyone.

[They'll also have to make sure they don't accidentally burn down the forest or something crazy like that. Moro would never forgive them.]
