Happu Thanksgiving, everyone. :)

So, as is customary on Thanksgiving, I thought I'd share a few of the things I'm thankful for.

  • My family. My parents are wonderfully supportive people, and I love them very much. My little brother Alex is...well, he's a little brother, but he's a good kid and I could have done worse as far as siblings go. ;) I'm also thankful that my parents were nice enough to sacrifice having me home for Thanksgiving dinner so that I could go meet Scott's family today. We'll all have "post-Thanksgiving" together tomorrow. :)
  • Scott. You know, he's a really good guy. He looks out for me, he supports me, he buys me yarn, and promises me bunnies. I'm extremely thankful that when I move out of my house in August, hopefully bound for graduate school, that I'll be moving in with him, because I'll have a familiar face around and I know he'll keep me safe.
  • My friends. I don't see some of them as often as I'd like, but my friends are still there for me when I need them.
  • My pets. Oh, my kids! ;) My little Lori-bird, as always...she'll be seven this year! My Mr. Maxwell, even though he hasn't been very nice to the Cocoa-puppy (for whom I'm also thankful)lately. And I'm going to include my little Snitch, even though she's gone, because she was a sweetheart and I'm thankful for every day that I had her.
  • My health. It's not as good as it could be, what with the stress and winter colds, but there's nothing horribly wrong with me - I'm still in possession of my faculties and all my motor skills, so there's nothing stopping me from doing the things I love.
  • My hobbies, abilities, and interests. I'm reasonably intelligent, I'm marginally creative, and I have skills and interests that help make me who I am.
  • My life. I'm thankful that my life is a pretty good one. I'm comfortable, I eat well, I have good family and friends. Not a bad lot, really. :)

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. In a few hours it'll be off to Scott's uncle's, where there will be food, relative-meeting, and probably some knitting. Muahaha. :)
