It's funny how my mind works. It seems that poems come to me most often during times that I am bored, or when I have no paper or pen in hand. It's like the muses don't want me to record whatever strange poetic fancies go through my head.

It's Perio week na next week... It seems like the year really flew by... And despite the fact that this year has been the most stressful and the most challenging one I have gone through in my entire life, so far, I really don't want it to end...

I have always adored the terzanelle form of poetry. It sounds absolutely mysterious yet brilliant in its form and meter. Sadly, I have yet to produce a good enough terzanelle for publication. The only thing holding me back from writing a proper terzanelle is my inability to write poetry in iambic pentameter. It's just so freakin' hard!
