nostalgia- hey, there's a mood for that!

I just remembered a computer game that I used to play in elementary school. I don't remember the name at all, but I remember that I traveled through different fairy tales and helped the characters out. I think I had to bargain a pumpkin from the garden of another fairy tale character, maybe Rapunzel's witch's garden, to get it to Cinderella for her coach, and I think I found one of her missing glass slippers in the clouds where Jack visited the giants. I really wish I could remember what it was called - I loved it a lot, even if I was never able to finish it.

Other games I played when I was little - Storybook Weaver, Oregon Trail, Aamazon Trail, The Secret Island of Dr. Quandary, and some game where the protagonist wandered into a wizard's tower and the wizard told him to get back out in a set time or the protagonist would be turned into a frog. I was never able to finish that last one before I turned into a frog, although I came very close a few times. To get out of the tower, you had to solve lots of small puzzles, mostly word puzzles. Making mistakes in the puzzles ate through your remaining time.

ETA: Looked up the games using the power of google - the first one was Mixed-Up Fairy Tales, and the second was Mind Castle: Spell of the Word Wizard.
