kick some ass, hinata-chan!
So I was reading a fic with a pretty awesome version of Hinata fighting, and apparently some people thought it was a bit OOC so the author mentioned that Awakened!Hinata from the video games was a good example of how she fought at one point in his fic. I looked up some videos of Awakened!Hinata on YouTube, as I don't play my own Naruto game nearly enough to have unlocked her, and let me tell you, she's pretty damn awesome! Much more aggressive, she doesn't look like she's ready to shift into a block with nearly every strike, and the part that stands out in my mind the most was when I saw her slide forward on her knees to land a strike. I think that's where I want my version of Hinata to end up, not in exact style since it's probably still pure Juuken, but in aggressiveness. It's also pretty weird to hear the difference in the voice actress from, "I, I challenge you..." to "This is the power of the Main House!"
