Winding down the year
I think there are no more than four of us in the department this morning. So far. There'll probably be more later in the week, but for the first day of the last week of 2009, it's a sedate pace of getting back into the groove. I'm looking forward to a week of virtually no meetings, no crises (well, no more than normal), and catching up on other stuff. There's a stack of HR stuff that needs to be done, and this is the week to do it.
After a low-key Chrissie weekend (at least once we got Kit back home), we're looking forward to an equally low-key NYE. Hopefully bringing in 2010 quietly will set up a quiet year. I can always dream! Our NY celebration will be the Chris Isaak gig on January 1st -- giving us a chance to stay downtown for a night. I'll have to make the most of it, as there's rumblings that I'll need to come into the office on January 3rd, to work. The fun persists!
