Travel & random
Back from mom's place yesterday(In the end took the train) but also at the same day had started to come down with a sore throat.... I hope I don't get a cold ;_; (It's my turn to have choir singing this coming weekend and then need to attend wedding the week after muwaagggghhhh!!!!)
I absolutely despise my so called 'old-home town' - the town of which my mother lives in and where I grew up in my childhood days. Honestly if she or my friend doesn't live there I'll never wanna go back there. Damn person checking my train ticket didn't even bother to tell me I need to switch from train to bus in one of the stops, was lucky the northern Ireland train service staff informed me of this otherwise I'll be going somewhere else!
My hometown is just inconvenient, I don't care how much other people like it. Every time I go there the streets always looks ugly to me (I guess that's just me) the one thing I hate the most is that if you don't own a car yourself you can't really get around to anywhere at all! A bus arrives at the neighbourhood once an hour (wtf) and it's not even that far away from the center of the town (Just a 15 min drive) you'd think they have more buses AND bus stops but nooooo.
In terms of travel, no place is better than HK. However, living in HK is crap, too many people, hard to get your own place, terrible air, etc. Going there for a short holiday is good though.
Anyway, lately have been thinking of getting a lightbox - but they are expensive, I've thought of just buying a light and a big plastic container and stick the light in instead....we'll see....
